Description

From the Arrowhead Point Trailhead along Water Gap Road, expect to climb steep, narrow singletrack through dense hemlock groves while enjoying brutal switchbacks at the end. This short trail is for individuals who love to climb, and only the fittest and most skilled will clean it. If you are looking to simply access the other trails, don't take the Beast. Take the Multi-use Trail and/or Arrowhead Trail. As a downhill, the Beast can be a fun, but technical (because of the tight turns) extension of Arrowhead Trail.
