Description

This section of trail was completed at the end of 2015. It has some exposure at the top but is known for its switchbacks, 14 in total! Once you get through the switchbacks, it flows very nicely as it goes by Gross Spring.

The trail will eventually continue with singletrack over to Badger Trail but for now you can get to Badger Trail using some old doubletrack. There are some 15%+ grades if you decide to climb the switchbacks, which is preferred by some.

I enjoy climbing the turns almost as much as descending them. 12mi — 2h 00m
