Description

From the south end of the Towhee Trail and Marciel Road at the campgrounds, this trail heads down to the lake on a smooth but steep road that descends 330 ft over a half mile. That's about a 14% average grade, with steeper sections, for anyone planning to climb back up.

Once at the lake, the trail follows the shoreline to the north around Honker Bay to the junction with Live Oak Trail, which joins the East Shore Trail and Cameron Loop Trail.
