Overview

This is an easy, out-and-back ride but not recommended for newbies as there are a lot of roots in the fast sections.

Need to Know

There are two reported major land slides along this route; use caution in those areas. The trail is still open though.

Description

A double and singletrack route that used to be on a cocoa plantation, plenty of flora and fauna. It is also a hiking trail and sometimes large groups of tourists come to explore the mostly pristine nature.

Park at Summit Zoo and ride the couple kms it takes to get to the trailhead or take your chances and park at the trailhead, it's safe when there is a security guard on the weekend. During the week, however, there is no one overlooking the parking lot and your car could be broken into.

History & Background

Used to be a cocoa plantation.
