Description

This loop branches from the Bayview Trail to explore the southernmost extent of the park alongside the south marsh. In the counterclockwise direction, the trail starts by climbing a paved access road to a microwave communications site. After 1/3-mile, with bay views at the top, the trail forks to the left on a dirt road that descends along the parks southern boundary before making a U-turn to follow the marsh shoreline north back to Bayview Trail.

I rode this as part of a longer ride. This whole area is kind of "meh" for mountain biking but it's nice to have options in Fremont. Decent workout. 17.3mi — 1h 57m
