Family Friendly Families of fuel burners are common on Hancock Pass and Tomichi Pass.

This is at high altitude and has the typical short season of approximately July to September.

Description

As shown, you ride the first section of Forest Road #888 from the bottom of Hancock Pass up and over Tomichi Pass to get to the Canyon Creek Trail. You'll do this if riding the Canyon Creek Megacalorie or if you're one of the few solar-powered robots disguised as a human that can actually do the Vapor 125 Course. Note that you turn right onto the Canyon Creek Trail shortly after cresting Tomichi Pass, and get out yer hiking shoes, unless, again, you are one of the disguised robots.

The hike-a-bike up the Canyon Creek Trail to around 12,500' is very steep, rough, and you're at the altitude where aircraft are legally required to pressurize their cabins, so oxygen is fairly scarce.

The view from Tomichi Pass is great. The next hike-a-bike takes you to the top of the mountain in the upper right of the pic
