Roller Coaster begins with a jump to flat followed by a quick 90-degree right turn then a quick 90-degree left across a small bridge. From there, prepare to get on the gas as the trail primarily flows through the trees with corners that you can really hammer the throttle on the exits. A few small gully crossings offer either a drop line in the middle or a rail opportunity along the sides.
The trail surface is primarily packed, sandy soil with spots of heavier organic matter throughout and one or two small sections of pea gravel near the end. The end opens to a pipeline right-of-way which provides an opportunity to bounce up on the dam and head back to the base. Beginners can gain confidence with this trail, while experienced riders have plenty of opportunity to hone their skills.
This is a great opening section of trail as the challenge only increases the faster you go.
