Description

Dardanelles Lake is a short spur off Christmas Valley Trail. It is well worth the 1.2-mile trip to the lake. The trail is a mix of easy flowing, forested singletrack with 3 creek crossings and some technical rock sections.

Dardanelles Lake is a great lake for a dip on warm summer days. The lake is beautiful and almost entirely ringed with big granite. It is a great alpine lake.

The creek crossings all have large stepping stones, but are usually easily rideable in summer.

There are a few short hike-a-bike sections right near the lake (perhaps rideable for a trials monster). They are all rideable on the way back, so scout your lines. Super fun!
