Mueller park is open year round. Day use hours are 5 am to 10 pm.

Description

The Rock Pond Trail begins at the Visitor Center Parking Lot and descends westward towards Rock pond and Brook Pond.

From the lot, follow the trail southward. At mile 0.8, it passes the take-off to the Preacher's Hollow Trail (Trail 4) on the east. Stay to the west.

It continues to descend westward. At mile 1.2, it passes the take-off to the Four Mile Overlook Trail (Trail 44) on the south side of the trail. Keep heading west.

The trail then turns slightly northward, and at mile 2.2, the Brook Pond Trail (Trail 24) turns eastward, and the trail to Rock Pond heads westward.

The trail is ridden as an out and back. **Note that only foot or horseback access is allowed along the Haycreek Access Road in Dome Rock State Wildlife Area.
