Need to Know

A Scout troop has added signs denoting where the trail is, the signs indicate that the trail should be ridden/hiked in reverse; however, this is not the direction that the trail is commonly used. If you want to ride the trail detailed on this page, follow the map not the signs.

Description

The beginning of the route is at the bottom of the valley with a nice shaded section. Later on, the trail widens at a short, steep fireroad going uphill. The downhill is loose and very technical. Although the features are similar to what you would see on a black/double black diamond trail, the loose sand and large loose rocks makes this trail incredibly difficult. Check the features before you ride them as the trail is unmaintained, and sections of singletrack may have eroded away.

Slightly overgrown, probably the most technical trail nearby. There are some double black features with bypasses that are single black 3.5mi

You'll have to hike and bike sections unless you're top tier. 4.2mi — 1h 37m

Lots of climbing for very little downhill. Lots of walking in the beginning, very steep, but really great workout.
