Description

The Puffer Lake Trail actually begins to the north of Eagle Point Resort along the Skyline Trail. From there, it heads south through open meadows and scattered trees to cross over the Observation Point lookout, here it intersects the end of the Observation Point Trail.

The trail continues heading south along vague singletrack into the woods, there is a small rock cairn to mark the continuation of the trail. At times it can be narrow or rocky, but nothing unmanageable. Just after the grade steepens, the trail passes the start of Tushar Ridge. Head left to keep descending toward the lake. Near the end, the singletrack exits the trees and becomes a road-trace for the last little bit to Cullen Creek Road.
