Description

The Indigo Lake trail is accessed from the south end of Timpanogas Campground. It starts in a deep forest of mountain hemlock and Pacific silver fir, winding its way up to the alpine meadows around Indigo Lake.

The trail itself is mostly smooth with a few sections of minor roots and rocks. The route can be combined with the Indigo Extension to access the high alpine trails around Sawtooth Mountain.
