Description

Sawtooth follows steady and steep grades from the intersection with the Indigo Lake trail. As it climbs, it winds through open stands of fir, hemlock, and pine.

In the upper reaches, the trail crosses a long razorback spur of Sawtooth Mountain, which forms part of the edge of the Timpanogas Lake Basin. Here, you'll be treated to amazing views of Diamond Peak, Cowhorn Mountain, and the Three Sisters as well as Sawtooth Mountain itself.

There's a short descent before the trail climbs again briefly to connect with Windy Pass trail.
