Overview

This is an advanced enduro ride that requires downhill skills. This loop combines technical climbing with steep, rocky descents and roots and rock gardens with loose terrain. Overall, you'll find hard pedaling with a downhill-level track.

Description

Start up on the wide, dirt access road V-731 as it climbs gradually to the west. After just under 9 KM, look to the left for the start of the Monte Redondo trail. This is a technical descent that features the legendary La Llorona section. Use caution here and ride within your skill level.

At the end of Monte Redondo, turn left onto the Mateo Dirt Road and then finish things up on the quite difficult Upare - La Llorona before finishing the loop back at the parking area in Mateo.
