Description

Mormon Loop Trail is an easier way to climb South Mountain starting from the main Dirt Road or Javelina Canyon Trail. The trail has its share of rocks but the grade is more gradual and less technical than National Trail. There are one or two areas that are a little steeper and a little more challenging but overall this is a very rideable climb or a very fast descent.

You'l have a good view of Phoenix, especially near the top and the junction with Mormon Trail.
