Family Friendly Kids will enjoy the wide doubletrack, low inclines, and non-technical terrain, plus great views and wildlife as they travel next to a creek.

Description

The Springlawn Trail travels on what was once Springlawn Road, connecting Chesterville Road (Rt. 841) and Strickersville Road.

The 2.2-mile trail is comprised of dirt and gravel and follows along Big Elk Creek with scenic views, wildlife, and an old abandoned stone building. Progress is very easy and there's nothing technical which makes it great for; family riding, new riders or just a fun, quick training ride. Open to mountain bikes, hikers, and horses.

There are parking areas on either side of the trail, though the east side has very limited parking. As a result, it's not uncommon for the Springlawn Trail to be ridden as an out-and-back.
