This trail leaves from the Figure 8, following the Snowmobile Trail past the Claire Trail entrance and out to Holt Road. Once you get to Holt Road, turn right and follow the road for about 200 yards. The Snowmoble Trail will begin again on the left next to a telephone pole. This second portion of the trail will begin in a field and then climb a loose, rocky slope into the woods. From here, the trail becomes a doubletrack again and a fun, fast descent leads you down to a bridge and river crossing, before a quick climb leads back up to the falls.
