Family Friendly A paved trail with access to the river. Be mindful and yield to faster users.

Description

This is a paved bike path that follows the creek route. Unlike many urban paths, this one has few trail crossings and access points, making the actual trailheads quite far apart.

At several points along the route, there are small access trails to the creek for fishing and taking in the scenery. Along the northern half, there are other dirt trails that follow the same route. Designed for equestrian use, these are also open to MTB, however, it’s worth noting that the soil here is soft and sandy.

If starting at the Jesse H. Jones Park, look on their trail system map for the Judy Overby Bell Trail which turns into the Spring Cr Greenway, also keep in mind that this park and its parking lots close at dusk.
