This trail punches above its weight, especially if you are doing it as part of the Durannapass loop. On paper, it looks like an easy, flat segment in the valley connecting the Davos-Laret and Davos-Wolfgang stations. Indeed, the first half of the trail fits the bill - it's a relatively flat, straight gravel road.

When you get to the main State Road 28, Prättigauerstrasse, you'll enter a forest and then the fun begins. You'll climb 75 m (250 ft) in about a quarter-mile on singletrack. After that, the trail levels out until you reach the Davos-Wolfgang station.
