Family Friendly This trail is close to the parking area and features a 3/4-mile section of singletrack that parallels Philpott Lake.

Jamison Mill Park is managed by Franklin County Parks and Recreation and is open from sunrise to sunset year round. Camping is available April-October.

Description

Golden Shore Loop is a great way to end your ride at Jamison Mill Park, making this the last of the chain of inner connected loops you would ride in the suggested CCW direction.

The fast singletrack trail drops in elevation quickly from the Ridge Access Trail where you'll encounter one extremely tight, steep, and challenging switchback. A small rock garden awaits you at the bottom. Connect back with the Golden Shore Loop - Southeast spur taking you along the lakeside and returning you to the parking area.
