This route is not recommended for bikes with regular sized tires. Instead follow Soda Springs Trail #306 to Old Buckman Road.

Description

The Cañada Ancha Route leads south through Diablo Canyon to reach Dead Dog Well. This is a long, long ride through very sandy conditions. There are also some excellent, technical, rocky spots and awesome views once in the canyon.
