Description

This is a short ride to the amazing Pony Hills Petroglyphs site. The road can be accessed near the terminus of the Old Homestead Trail road. A blue sign with white letters labelled "Petroglyphs" marks the beginning of this ride.

Follow the road generally east until it ends in a turnabout circle. From the circle, you should see rock formations to the east. These formations are covered in petroglyphs. There are no trails into the petroglyphs site, so you'll need to walk your bike in and take care not to disturb any of the petroglyphs in order to preserve these precious windows into the history of the land.
