This trail connects the beach parking lot to the upper parking lot. It also links the upper parking to the majority of the trails in Walnut Creek. Although 90% of it is very easy trail, there is a section between the two parking lots that would be difficult for beginners. It involves some steep but short hills along with rocks and roots. It's not a problem at all to just walk this short section. Also, the entrance to the trail from the upper parking lot can be intimidating to beginner riders for about 30ft.
