Rothman Way begins at the lower end at the Gad Valley Summer Road, runs across the resort, and ends at the Peruvian Gulch Trail.

At mile 0.3, Rothman Way intersects the beginning of the Baby Thunder Trail and Mid-Way Trail. Dick Bass Highway meets Rothman Way at mile 0.5. Big Mountain Trail crosses just shortly after this. The dirt road continues to climb gradually over 9,000 feet to end at the Peruvian Gulch Trail.
