With a number of sections and nearby trails so close riders may be tempted to shortcut. If you are indeed overwhelmed/underwhelmed by this trail and want out early, at least stop and hop over on foot so as not to make a misleading spur.
Description
This trail starts and ends from the
A Trail. Ride it either way as it will become a new sort of animal in the reverse direction. The best way seems to be to start on the upper side and head north. The trail parallels the
A Trail within a few feet for 0.5 miles before making a hard switchback back on itself. You may wonder where the singletrack is head since there are five paralleling trails just a few feet away. Just press on.
The four lower trails are all part of this one and yes you'll be riding them all shortly. This seemingly ridiculous set of switchbacks provide extra mileage and a few cool rock outcroppings. After a mile, it's time to finally ride the lower section that you have been seeing to your left. Be ready for weird ramps with inclines and drops that don't flow as expected (in either direction). The trail narrows and gets more fun during the final 0.5 miles.
