Family Friendly Wide, groomed trail with just a few, easy-to-navigate obstacles.

Description

Paralleling San Vicente Road, this trail is more exposed than the other trails around Stone Mountain. It's still a lot of fun, with a wide track that climbs and dips several times along the south of the hillside.

The trail starts with a soft, sandy climb that will make you wish you had really, really fat tires, but once you're up that climb, the rest of the trail is pretty fast.

There is one rocky climb and drop right before you cross Camino Arriba (a driveway for the homes on top of the hill), which is easy to walk around. For those who hate walking, paths drop off the main trail to the road around the rocks and back to the trail.

Watch for dog-walkers and horses on this Stone Mountain trail in particular.
