Overview
Need to Know
Navigation is straightforward and there are signs at most intersections. If you're heading back to Klamath after your ride, make sure to stop at Rodeos Pizza and Saladeria for the best pie and beer in town. More trails are currently being built within this system. A black diamond trail will be completed early in the summer of 2017.
Description
Begin this ride with an easy, gradual climb on
South Ridge Trail to the
Summit Spur of Spence Mountain. At Junction 2 and the
Summit Spur, continue to the right toward Junction 3. Here the trail turns left onto
Upper Hooligan Trail.
This is a great loop that showcases some of the best singletrack in southern Oregon. RiderS are rewarded with fantastic views of Upper Klamath Lake, Mount Shasta, and the Mountain Lakes Wilderness and a phenomenal flowy descent.
The trails were professionally built by Dirt Mechanics as part of a cooperative partnership between Klamath Trails Alliance, Dirt Mechanics, and the property owner.
