The gate may be locked, trail closed, during wet weather.

Description

From the Briones Crest Trail, pass through the gate to start a rolling and fast descent down this ridge. The road doesn't often get graded so it has a singletrack feel to it. The upper section drops gradually then gets steeper past the Yerba Buena Trail junction down to the archery range. This section would be a challenging climb.
