The Medaris Ditch trail runs along the lower portion of Mount Medaris, in between the trailhead at the intersection of South Wildhorse Drive and Castle Ct. and the trailhead at the top of C Avenue. Start at either trailhead to ride the Medaris Ditch trail to access other trails on Mount Medaris.

The western end starts with a steep, challenging climb to gain elevation. The first trail intersection you'll come to is West Medaris. This trail is closed to bikes and is open to foot traffic only.

The second intersection you come to is Salty Dalty. Use this trail to access other trails higher up on Mount Medaris such as the Medaris Ridge and Pubview .

The third intersection you come to is East Medaris. This trail is closed to bikes and is open to foot traffic only. There is also a short access trail that leads to the paved bike path and provides an alternate access point from Castle Valley Ranch if starting from the top of C Avenue is not desired.

Starting from the eastern end provides a more moderate climb. Intersections described above will be encountered in the opposite direction. Please obey all regulations while riding on Mount Medaris.
