Description

Sweet Shady North is a great alternative to Gully and is the best way to access the lower trails like Plumber's Crack and Wapiti Whip. It can be ridden in either direction.

Enter the trail at the trailhead and follow Gully Trail for about 1/4 mile until you see the trail break off to the right. It will immediately dip down into a gully, cross a dry creek bed, and then climb out. The trail continues along a fence on your right. Take the first left you come to at the green gate on the fence line. Follow this for 6/10th of a mile until you come to a fork in the trail.

If you take the left, this will put you on Powerline road where you can cross the big gully to your left and head up toward the Tower of Power and Slant'n'Dicular.

If you go right, you'll cross the Powerline road but you'll stay on singletrack for a steep little climb up to CC's Crossing and the start of Plumber's Crack.
