Description

This trail is typically ridden as the return loop from the B-Loop Trail or White Street back to the Janus Rd parking area. Entering the trail from White Street or the B-Loop Trail intersection, it gradually climbs through pine forest which quickly transitions to hardwoods. In less than 0.75 miles, the grade becomes mostly level before transitioning to a long, twisting mostly downhill section.

As the grade begins to level off at the bottom of the long downhill, a pond will eventually come into view. After the trail meanders close to the pond and then begins to pull away, you'll encounter a stream crossing where you'll get wet during periods of high water. After the stream crossing, the trail will climb moderately for approximately 0.5 miles.

From the top of the climb, the trail levels off for a while before beginning the final downhill back to the Janus Road parking area.
