“Mac's Back is a McCauley Mountain ski trail in the winter with a steep climb to a winding descent.
”
The trail begins with a mostly moderate climb up the wide open face of this short T-Bar lift served ski hill. Facing uphill, begin your ride traversing left across the face angling toward the narrow trail opening above the small rope-tow (left of the T-bar).
Halfway up the hill (above the rope tow), leave the open face of Mac's Back following the narrower ski trail uphill to the intersection with Sidewinder and a short narrow trail angling hard right to the top of the T-Bar slope. Follow this shortest, right-hand trail to the top of Mac's Back.
From the top of Mac's Back, a narrow singletrack trail winds and descends down the open face. Facing downhill, the trails begins on the far right and angles back left followed by a series of switchbacks. Be careful when descending of obstacles that may be hidden by tall grass.
