Smooth flow and no obstacles make this a good option. Just know that the trail is pretty high up on the mountain so it's a long ride to the bottom.
Open during summer park hours.
Description
Una Moss is the highest trail in the Garbanzo Zone and rider's only option from the top of the Whistler Village Gondola, unless they've purchased a ticket to ride
Top of the World. The trail starts next to the the Olympic Rings and quickly wraps away from the Roundhouse Lodge. On the left is the
Peak Chair Connector which will take the day's allotment of 150 riders to the base of the Peak Express Lift.
At the first road, turn left and follow it along to reach the next section of machine-built doubletrack. The flow trail keeps you going pretty fast through the somewhat rocky berms and rollers that wind through the trees and across ski runs. The trail will come out to the road again as it passes The Chic Pea Hut. Keep generally left and look for the next entrance at the edge of the trees.
Not much interrupts the smooth rolling until Una Moss crosses under the
Upper Freight Train bridge before the trail winds through a meadow clearing. Cross over the
Bear Cub Road and head back into the trees. This is the end of
Upper Freight Train so watch for riders at the merging point. A few turns ahead is another brief merger with
Upper No Joke.
The next section is quite wide and features deep sweeping berms that are loads of fun if you catch them without brake bumps. There are also some g-outs and jumps to play with before the trail winds down to end at the intersection with
Seven Year War. Continuing straight will follow
Upper No Joke down to the road.
