An easy grade along a nice short loop that doesn't see much traffic so the trails can have tall weeds.

These are snowmobile trails in the winter.

Overview

There is a parking lot by the dam off Beaver Valley Road that is listed as a boat ramp. We parked there and rode across the dam. The low path is an old road and is used as a snowmobile trail. This ends at a gravel turn-around where you could get a vehicle up to.

Description

The trail called Forest Run Trail (south from the intersection of Old Glendale Road Trail, Old Glendale Road, and Krise Road - not mapped) was about knee high with weeds and we went about a mile before turning around. I removed it from this ride as it appears to dead-end at private property.

The gravel Old Glendale Road Trail turns into Old Glendale Road, which goes to a road intersection with Fiske Road and we turned around at that point.

We took Hagaratty Trail back and it connected back near the dam. This has a nice view and is a good spot to take pictures.

The park has maps at the marina and offices and there are 20 miles of trails in the area to explore.

Please note, the trails are for snowmobiles and range from road width to doubletrack. They are not bush-hogged so expect tall weeds to ride through.
