Description

Park at the gate and begin to climb on an old FS road that accesses the fire tower on Holston High Knob. This road climbs for one mile. The road condition is fair but not often maintained so there may be washed out and rutted sections. Just before reaching the fire tower, Holston Mountain Trail can be seen on your right.
