Flint Mill is only open to bikes from Flint Mill Gap to the overlook.

Description

From Flint Mill Gap, the trail descends a short distance to a small creek crossing. The water is usually too deep to ride across but it is easy to carry your bike across without getting wet.

Continue on a short, steep climb from the creek and then a gradual descent to Flint Rock. This is the only bike legal part of the trail. Past Flint Rock, the trail is open to foot traffic only. When you are finished at the overlook, climb back up the trail to Flint Mill Gap.

This trail is also open to hikers and horses. Please be courteous to other trail users.
