Description

To either ascend or descend from Taylor Mountain Summit, take the Eastern Route's wide, rocky, often steep doubletrack path straight on up or down.

From the Kawana entrance, this trail starts from the eastern edge of the water towers with a latched gate. Follow this uphill as it rolls across a few benches and then heads straight up the hillside (with no real option for shade along the way). You'll see a more tempting hiking trail traversing its way across on either side, but it's marked as off limits for bikes so stick to the grind!
