Short loops with options to extend or shorten the rides as desired.
Overview
The course follows a winding three-mile path through the woods between Mirror and Edmonds Lake and includes two-and-a-half miles of narrow new singletrack connected by wider segments of old multi-use trail. The singletrack is well maintained, has good drainage, and is generally smooth with some small rock and jump features mixed in. The multi-use trails will be more rooty and have some mud holes.
Need to Know
Road crossings between 7-8, 17-18, and 20-21, so watch for traffic and keep pups close!
Description
The trails start from the Mirror Lake parking lot, immediately south of the Mirror Lake exit. Start following the numbered trail signs and enjoy the ride!
At number 6, you can turn right for the
Blue Loop, which brings you back to sign 8. If you continue in order, the
Red Loop starts at number 9. There is a viewpoint just past marker 12 using the
Red 10 - 12 spur, but you can skip this and stay left at 10, continuing through 13.
At 15, you can complete the loop by staying right, going back to 9. From there, go back to number 6 to start the
Blue Loop; the next sign will be number 16 if riding this direction. The multi-use trail between 16 and 18 has a steep climb up to the road. Stay left at sign 20 and go up and over the road, number 21 is just inside the woods off the multi-use trail.
These are short loops so ride in both directions to get your fill! You can also connect the loops on the east side between 15 and 22, instead of riding back to 8 or 9.
