Family Friendly After the first 0.25 mile, the next 2+ miles are pretty easy along Wash Creek.

Description

Park just off South Fork Road, just up the hill from the brown FS 690 sign. The road climbs steeply for about 0.25 miles, but then levels out for over two miles of very mellow cruising along Wash Creek.

Stay left when Wash Creek Ridge (FS 610) drops in from the right, and then stay right at the next two forks. The climb gets progressively more challenging until you eventually top out on the ridge between Wash Creek and Alder Creek at FS 610.
