Description

This jeep trail follows the ridgeline between Wash Creek and Alder Creek for most of its length, and connects to Wash Creek Road (FS 690) at two points.

There are excellent views to the north toward Garden Valley, and the trail provides lots of steep descents, short climbs, ruts, and whoops (water bars) to keep you on your toes. It is best ridden south to north (downhill).

The soil is very sandy and loose, which can make corners tricky, but also makes the route ride-able from as soon as the snow melts (usually mid-April) until the following winter, as mud is virtually non-existent.
