The top of Step begins as an easy singletrack descent. About halfway down, the trail corridor is filled with a succession of man-made steps that become one to two foot drops. If that doesn't sound like a lot of fun, take Fulton Trail back to the parking area.

Otherwise, get ready for a rough cascading ride. Do be wary if it's recently rained as heavy water flow can cause changes or washouts to this section. Near the bottom of Step, there are many off-shoots that split off the trail. All lead to the parking area or nearby road, but try and stay on course.
