Description

The West Fork Trail is in CAMBA's forgotten and unloved Delta Cluster of trails. I rode it mainly to add it to MTB Project. CAMBA describes it as: "Pine Barrens, tall red and white pines and rustic old-school singletrack."

The lower sections are very overgrown with ferns, so much so that the trail is obscured. The trail signage is faded and or damaged and needs updating. If maintained, the singletrack section would be a fun exploration through a rustic and remote setting.

The gravel and paved sections are mostly through cabin areas and have some periodic ATV trails alongside the road. The trailhead is located at the Delta Lake Campground (NE Corner). Since cell service is limited in the area, make sure you locate the trailhead before you lose connectivity.
