Description

After you've traversed Windy Ridge, take this road to get to the Windy Ridge Interpretive Site and the start of the Smith Creek Trail #225 or keep heading down the pavement to get to the "main" Smith Creek Trailhead. This extension of the main FR 99 road is closed to public vehicles and is a reasonably smooth combination of dirt, well-placed gravel, and some pavement.
