Description

Much of this trail burned a few years ago. Oodles and gobs of trees are still down, despite being cleared in 2016. Trail finding is a challenge and the last switchbacks above Skalkaho are hard to find. Still, the great views from a fun ridge give hope that this might be a great ride someday if it's properly rehabilitated.

This trail would be a challenge to climb from Skalkaho Pass. But, if you did want to give it a go, try a loop with Upper Palisades Trail #44 and Dam Lake Trail #88.
