Description
This is a one-way downhill trail packed full of technical features, rollers, and drops. It follows a rock bluff as it flows from the south to the north along Blue River Road. It's (mostly) downhill except for a few technical punchy climbs to get back on the bluff so that you can drop or roll off the next feature. This makes it more of a technical trail than just pure downhill. It splits off the
Stonewall loop and is well marked. There is a decent-sized drop at the beginning so you know what you're getting into.
From there on, there are really no ride-arounds. There are a lot of rock features, a few drops, and a few rollers. The highlight are the Celtic drop at the beginning, The Nose, The Tree of Knowledge, Chunky Biz, and the grand finale is The Plunge. It is super fun, but bring your lungs and A-game as it is a burner and very technical.
It does cross
Stonewall about two-thrids of the way down, so make sure to look before crossing. Just after the crossing, there is a fairly big cliff next to the trail that is not hard to navigate, but could lead to a 40 foot fall if you really mismanage it, so slow down and take it easy. Some safe proofs have been placed but it's best not to test your luck.
