While this trail doesn't enter into the Wilderness, it does travel close. Be aware of the boundary if you ride around and explore.

Description

This 6.0-mile trail is most often combined with a portion of FSR #102 to make a longer loop around Cranberry Grades. Riders will find lots of views and an interesting and varied terrain that includes the occasional open grassy meadow. Look for the historical signage for the old prison without walls.

If it's rained recently, there are many low-lying areas that will likely stay wet. There are also some creek crossings that will be much simpler as bridges are replaced in the future.

Good cross country skiing in the winter.

Skews intermediate due to lack of trail maintenance. Would be easy if better maintained.
