Description
You won't want to miss this trail at the top of the Whiskey Run Trail System. You'll be hooting and hollering as you soar through the Coos County Forest timberlands, enjoying smooth berms that dip between the tight trees, large old-growth cedar stumps lining the trails, and cool fern-lined drainages.
This trail will eventually connect through, but for now it ends at an old logging road covered with Gorst plants (read: tubeless tires a must). When you reach the scenic overlook at the old logging road, have a snack, drink some water, and turn back around.
The climb back out is rolling with only a few short punchy climbs where you'll want to get out of the saddle to make it over the crest before your glide back down the other side.
