Need to Know

A brutal, brutal climb. Try to skip this by parking at Garin Parking Lot and climbing up High Ridge Loop.

Description

This is an alternate route to connect to High Ridge Loop Trail. The first 0.5 miles is pretty flat and an easy ride along a pretty nice area. Then suddenly it starts to go up. The surface gets rough due to cows and low maintenance. The route is harder to climb than High Ridge Loop Trail. One section is super steep and long and will require serious dedication to conquer.

This is the top of the longest/steepest part of the trail, looking southwest. Note the barbed wire fence on the right side (when looking downhill) of the trail. This section BAKES under the sun!
