The sections of trail beyond the north and south end of this trail are closed to bikes, requiring riders to approach from the Montevideo Trail North and treat this as a sort of out-and-back or exit at the bottom and walk 100 feet north. No night riding.

Description

The top of the trail (west end) is a loose rock doubletrack. After crossing a small stream, the land firms up and the trail narrows. After intersecting with the fire road and the Montevideo Trail North, the trail becomes a steep singletrack with some switchback turns.
