Description

A great ridge line trail that can be overgrown and rutted in places. It bisects the Santa Ana River Trail (SART) 2E03: Morton Peak Section and Bike for Bender Hell Ride route. Upper Workout is best done as a loop with Lower Workout or as part of a longer ride (like the Bike for Bender Hell Ride) or linking to Crafton Hills or even El Dorado Park in Yucaipa.

Upper Workout (along with Lower Workout) are both best accessed near the headwaters of the Santa Ana River via Santa Ana Canyon Rd. The decommissioned Greenspot bridge has been limited to non-motorized vehicles only and is a beautiful addition to this ride.
